Hall Welcomes New Members

Tom T. Hall and The Statler Brothers were officially inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame at the Medallion Ceremony at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, June 29.

The other new members of the Hall, Emmylou Harris and the late Ernest “Pop” Stoneman, were inducted on April 27. The celebrity crowd at the Medallion Ceremony included Vince Gill, Amy Grant and Reba McEntire, who sang The Statler Brothers’ hit “Flowers on the Wall” in their honor. Don Reid joined his brother Harold Reid and fellow Statlers Phil Balsley, Jimmy Fortune and the late Lew DeWitt in entering the Hall of Fame.
