Gone Country 2 Picks Cast

CMT has announced the cast for Gone Country 2, the follow-up to the network’s successful reality series Gone Country.

John Rich is set to continue as host of the series, where artists outside the country music mainstream compete for the chance to break out as a country star. The cast of Gone Country 2 consists of rock singer Sebastian Bach; pop singer Irene Cara, best known for her hits “Fame” and “Flashdance . . . What a Feeling;” American Idol finalist Mikalah Gordon; Jermaine Jackson, one of the original Jackson 5; Chris Kirkpatrick from the pop group ‘NSYNC; and actors Lorenzo Lamas and Sean Young. Gone Country was the highest-rated original series in CMT history. Gone Country 2 will premiere in August.
