Faith and Friends on Holiday Special
The11th Annual A Home for the Holidays With Faith Hill will air Wednesday, Dec. 23, on CBS-TV at 8 p.m. ET.
The annual special raises awareness for foster care adoption and tells inspirational stories of some exceptional families and their adoption experiences. Joining Faith for the show are Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, Grammy Award-winning singer Mary J. Blige, musician and featured adoptee Michael Franti and Latin pop singer Shakira. Actresses Jenna Elfman and Nia Vardalos are among the celebrities presenting inspirational stories about adoption.

We should have included in the story that Faith is an adopted child herself. As many fans know, she was adopted at less than a week old and raised as Audrey Faith Perry. In 1996, she founded the Faith Hill Family Literacy Project to honor her adoptive father.

Faith has been on this show numerous times and the first time was way before we even knew Carrie existed. Faith was the host of this show the first time in 2000. She has hosted this show 3 times before and been a guest even more. She was the host of the show last year.

Too bad Carrie fans have to show how ugly they can be. This is a very special show that shines the spotlight on children in need, Faith hasd been involved with it for a decade now.

To the comment about "Carrie fans" -- that comment was not from a Carrie fan but from an ignorant person, probably not anybody's fan. Faith Hill is a very talented performer involved in a very good cause and as a Carrie also I'm glad to see her on the show this year -- she is also a very caring person supporting this worthy cause.
