CMA Music Festival Breaks the Mark

The recent CMA Music Festival hit an all-time high attendance record with a 7.2 percent increase over 2008 during the four-day Festival, June 11 through 14, in downtown Nashville.

The average daily attendance in 2009 was 56,000. By comparison, in 2008 the average daily attendance was 52,000. The increase was felt in single-concert tickets and attendance in the festival's free zones and concert venues, including Riverfront Park, which was free to the public for the first time. Tickets for the 2010 CMA Music Festival, which will be held June 10 through 13 in Nashville, are available now. For more information, go to cmafest.com.
