Charlie Daniels’ Volunteer Jam Kicks Off April 11

Charlie Daniels’ popular Volunteer Jam tour, featuring the Charlie Daniels Band and special guests Shooter Jennings and .38 Special, will kick off Friday, April 11.

The first stop on the tour is a two-night stand at Chip-In’s Island Resort and Casino in Harris, Mich. The Volunteer Jam tour wraps up August 14 at the State Fair of West Virginia. Charlie started the Volunteer Jam in 1974 at the War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville, and the all-star show became an annual event for several years.
