Carrie Underwood has been confirmed to sing the National Anthem at the Superbowl on February 7, in which the Indianapolis Colts will take on the New Orleans Saints. Rock band The Who will perform during half-time, while R&B singer Queen Latifah will sing “America The Beautiful” before the game.
What a great choice to sing the national anthem. NO ONE could sing it better than Carrie---THE ALL AMERICAN GIRL NEXT DOOR. She is a great representative for country music---and I know she will do a fantastic job. Her vocals are amazing!!!!!!

Carrie is good vocally, but her previously performed version of our national anthem could hardly compare to the versions done by Faith Hill and LeAnn Rimes. Sometimes it seems like she is shouting more than singing. Hopefully she will be improved this time around.
