Season 4 of The Voice came to a close during a thoroughly entertaining two-hour live show Tuesday, June 18, that was jam-packed with crazy-good performances leading up to the big reveal of who won. Would America go country and give Blake Shelton a three-peat for his birthday? Or was new coach on the block Usher going to take home the prize?

Before getting the answers to those questions, we saw the early return of Christina Aguilera, who will be taking back her red chair from Shakira for Season 5 in the fall. Xtina and Pitbull opened the night with their hit “Feel This Moment.” The all-star lineup also included Florida Georgia Line and Nelly singing their summer anthem “Cruise,” a pre-taped performance by Bruno Mars of his soulful new single, “Treasure,” and a 67-year-old Cher making her first live appearance in 10 years with the empowering dance track “Woman’s World” and proving that she can still rock.

The finale also featured the finalists collaborating with their eliminated teammates, as well as getting the chance to sing with their music idols.

The Swon Brothers brought the fun as they led Justin Rivers, Holly Tucker and Amber Carrington on “Stars Tonight” by Lady Antebellum; and showed their love of country-tinged rock when they jammed with Bob Seger on the classic “Night Moves.”

Michelle Chamule brought the cool when she joined One Republic on “Counting Stars”; and reunited Team Usher’s Vedo, Cathia and Josiah Hawley (all in red shoes) for the Stevie Wonder version of “We Can Work It Out.”

Finally, Danielle Bradbery brought the adorable as she, Sarah Simmons, Amber Carrington and Caroline Glaser lit up the stage with Carrie Underwood’s “All American Girl”; then shined some more on “I Want Crazy,” an effortless duet with Hunter Hayes.

And, in the end, she was left speechless after Michelle was named the runner-up and Danielle wound up giving Blake something better than a Shakira-baked birthday cake: his third win in four seasons. Congratulations, Danielle!
