More like It’s About Time. Talented Tennessee native Amy Dalley released a half-dozen major-label singles (three of which reached the Top 30) between 2003 and 2007, all the while working on an album that it now appears will never see the light of day. Having freed herself from that contract at long last, she’s finally able to get some music into the hands of her exceedingly patient fans. Amy doesn’t disappoint—It’s Time is packed with smart, hooky songs whose topics range from the deadly serious (“Let’s Try Goodbye”) to the endearingly tongue-in-cheek (“Men Don’t Change,” already a minor hit in 2004).
